Your sector is not here. Does that matter?
Usually less than you would think.
What transfers between industries is not domain knowledge, it is the method for acquiring it: sitting with the people who do the work, finding the exceptions that never made it into the process document, and writing the model down before anyone writes code.
What does not transfer is regulation. If your sector has a compliance regime we have not worked inside, we will say so on the first call and factor the learning curve into the estimate rather than into your timeline. That is a cost we absorb, not one you pay for twice.
